​The Supernova mine is a turquoise mine located in Esmeralda County, Nevada. We discovered this mine some years back, and we are excited to be producing incredible turquoise from this locality! We named it Supernova because of the explosions of color and spiderweb turquoise that come from this mine that produces everything from clear blues to intense spiderweb and multicolor blues and greens. Much of the material from this mine is stabilized. We will always tell you on each stone whether it has been stabilized or not. The natural, untreated stones are very rare and collectible. This mine also produces --especially rare in turquoise-- brachiopod 'clam' fossil replacements. These fossil nuggets can contain some of the most amazing colors and spiderweb patterns!
